Participants
CCSD is an unincorporated collaborative venture between 19 core participants
from coal producing and using industries and research organisations in Queensland,
New South Wales and Western Australia including:
CCSD is governed by a Board of Management, comprising an independent Chair,
Russell Higgins, the Chief Executive Officer, Frank van Schagen, and representatives
of each of the core participants. An incorporated body, Australian Black Coal
Utilisation Research Limited, has been established to facilitate the consulting
activities and operations of the Centre and provide a framework for the management
of intellectual property and potential commercial offshoots from CCSD.
