Power Station Emissions Handbook

One of the objectives of the Co-operative Research Centre for Coal in Sustainable Development (CCSD) is to establish or update industry handbooks and codes of practice for current coal-fired generation technologies. This Power Station Emissions Handbook will be developed to encapsulate CCSD research and provide operators of coal-fired power stations and other stakeholders with a resource to understand:

  • The nature of power station emissions to the atmosphere
  • The potential environmental impacts arising from those emissions
  • Policy and regulatory responses
  • Assessment methodologies
  • Measurement and reporting protocols
  • Techniques and technologies to control emissions and mitigate impacts.
