This project outlines the development of the CCSEM system at the Advanced Technology Centre of Pacific Power and evaluates its accuracy through a “round-robin?test involving two international laboratories. An ash formation model, based on CCSEM, is then developed to estimate the ash character ?its size and chemistry. The model is evaluated for the sensitivity of predictions to sub-models, particularly the coalescence of mineral residues during char combustion. |
