Summary: |
This report summarises the work performed, as part of the Centre’s research program to examine gaseous emissions from coal gasification. The report documents emissions of nitrogen and sulphur compounds from a Queensland bituminous coal, measured under O2 gasification conditions in the PEFR at 1100 and 1400 °C. Two chars, prepared from Queensland coals, were studied in the bench scale fixed bed reactor to examine the effects of pressure, temperature and gasification medium on emissions. |
