The report describes two models for estimating the emissivity of gaseous medium. Firstly, it demonstrates that the radiative heat transfer characteristics are quite different in oxyfuel combustion and air combustion, due to the different concentrations and ratios of CO2 and H2O. The study demonstrates that the standard WSGGM model described in the literature and currently used in CFD codes such as FLUENT is not adequate in these situations and proposes a modified model. |
