This report is a summary of a portion of the work undertaken during the financial year 06/07 and represents the achievement of milestones to the level planned in the current scope of work.
This report presents new reaction rate and char surface area data for the CO inhibition of the char-CO2 gasification reaction. The current work presents new data and further analysis of the reaction system in terms of a LH reaction scheme. This continues a recent link of work, in which a LH kinetic model (generally used for atmospheic pressure applications) is tested for its applicability at high pressures. |
