Summary: |
The study commenced with the objective to synthesize low grade zeolite from fly ash for agricultural use as a controlled release fertiliser. Low grade zeolite is a more value-added application for fly ash which offers considerable advantages in terms of economic, technical and environmental performance. This report provides the summary of a Centre thesis study that successfully established a chemical basis for product synthesis. It also reports on further process development to establish the utility of the product. |
